Fashion Week Spring '10: Prabal Gurung

There is something quite refreshing about new kid on the block, Prabal Gurung's label.

Although he only has 2 Fashion Weeks under his belt so far, he is truly making a unique statement in ready-to-wear.

The spring collection embodies sheer elegance and simple femininity. I love the way this lightweight dress is wrapped in sheer fabric.

Bow applique was the rule of thumb for Prabal Gurung, and a neutral color palette. With romantic blouses and loose-fitted pieces, this collection offers a whimsical approach to effortless sophistication.

Accesories weren't needed--each piece spoke for itself.

I don't know about you, but I am already looking forward to the next Prabal Gurung collection.
