With all of the capsule collections blooming lately, this collaboration is by far one of the most brilliant.
If you didn't already know, Matthew Williamson has teamed up with H&M to launch a spring collection on April 23rd. Over 200 H&M stores will carry the line, bursting with Williamson's vibrant signature colors and breathtaking designs.
“I wanted to create a strong urban collection fused with the brand’s signature symbols and shapes. It’s been fascinating to search back through my archives to isolate the most iconic pieces, then rework them for H&M. Colour is one of the defining aspects of my signature style, I focused on the iconic peacock motif seen across my collections to develop a palette of blues, chartreuse and emerald. The spirit of the collection is both covetable and precious" says the illustrious designer.
I must say, from the looks of it, this is more exciting than Alexander McQueen's fusion with Target. I will have to take a special trip to the nearest H&M (which is probably Atlanta) to add these fabulous pieces to my wardrobe. What I adore most about this particular collabo, is that although the pieces are much less pricey than his couture line, they still reign true to all that is the Matthew Williamson label. Here is a sneek peak of the much anticipated collection...
Bravo.
