Quite seldom does the actress-turned-model thing follow through, but it is refreshing to see someone like Joy Bryant make it in Hollywood and maintain a sweet, humble persona. Her first debut as an actress was with an MTV melodrama, and also landed starring roles in movies alongside Derek Luke in Antwone Fisher, Orlando Bloom in Haven, and most recently with Martin Lawrence in Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. She hardly ever wears makeup because, well, she doesn't have to, and she went to Yale, so it helps that she's brilliant--her style isn't too bad either...
