The spotlight designer of the night was upcoming designer, Christian Siriano.

At only 22 years old, he is already known as the Marc Jacobs of his generation. A Maryland native, he has been a passionate designer since he was 13.

Siriano's dream of being a designer came true when he became the youngest winner of Project Runway, in the 4th season.

Since then he has launched a Fall 2008 line and most recently, a Spring '09 line. From feathers, to ruffles and layers in basic colors like black, white and gray, the Christian Siriano label is quickly and effectively evolving.

Known for his quirky style and bubbly personality, Christian Siriano certainly is making his mark in the fashion world.

He has personally designed for celebs like Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Becki Newton of Ugly Betty, Estelle, and most recently the Pussycat Dolls. Although I am not a fan of the group, Siriano did a fab job designing their outfits for the awards show.
