Fashion Week Spring '10: Badgley Mischka

Badgley Mischka brought bold elegance to the runway this season, with lace, sheer textures, body conscious pieces and proper-balanced silhouettes.

Statement accessories were primitive in metallics and illuminating colors.

This collection offered feminine sophistication with slimming skirts paired with flared tops in plunging necklines. Mixed textures like lace paired with sheer fabrics, donned a daring take on glamour and the perfect piece for an evening affair.

Slouchy pieces are here to stay with simple wide leg trousers and loose-fit blouses. Solid prints with a few striped pieces mixed in, offered a captivating approach to effortless style.

My favorite look was the floor-length skirt with cascading feathery layers, paired with the tailored blazer. Almost everything was cinched at the waist, for a balanced, well-put-together facade.

More photos after the jump.
