Ok. So, apparently Rock & Republic has launched an extension of its limited edition Recession Collection, named Plain Wrap in an effort to adapt to the less than booming economy. The line consists of lower priced basics with the names of the garment written on the garment...
The line also includes: tank tops, Windbreakers and leggings, appealing to men and women, and won't be available in stores until August.
“This is a new initiative with a new perspective for the consumer that wants fashionable basics with staying power,” said Michael Ball, Rock & Republic's founder and creative director.
I'm on the fence with this one. I wouldn't mind wearing a pair of stilettos that read STILLETTO, so long as it's paired with a basic pair of jeans and a basic tee. But a STILETTO, T-SHIRT and JEANS combo is a bit much. What do you think?

a recession line is a cute idea, these days. and the way he's tied in the concept is kinda cool.
kinda nice ... i agree, i probably wouldn't rock it all at once.
