Fall '09 Trend Alert!

Hey!
Sorry for the delay. I have been diligently working on all of the trends I have found so far from the Fall 2009 Fashion Weeks, so here are some of them as promised!
Tartan
Tartan is reinvented for fall in a tougher look, with a touch of elegance in dresses from mini to floor-length, softer textures and shoulder-bearers.
Slightly Detached
This trend gives coats and blazers a makeover in cut-out designs. Update a simple blazer and jeans look with a slightly detached design!
One-Sided
Although we are no strangers to the one-strap, this trend has been reinvented in a more exaggerated body of one side sleeveless and the latter, long-sleeve. Love it.
Floor-Length and Belted
Another returning trend, reinvented in chiffons, sheer textures and busy prints.
Leather Shorts and Colored Tights
Take your person style up a notch, with leather shorts...don't forget neutral-colored tights in blues and reds!
Black Skirt, White Blouse
I love how this trend has been made over in a festive way with sequined pencil skirts, and applique'd pieces...or keep it sophisticated and button your white blouse all the way up!
The Colored Cocoon Coat
The cocoon coat is back and better than ever! Wear your coat in fun colors like pink and orange or as a dress with colored tights for contrast.
Busy as a Bee
Busy print is a strong fall trend, and this zig zag design in black and white gives us something safe, yet edgy to look forward to.
Skinny Black Suit
Ever thought of wearing tights as a suit piece? It's ok, neither have I...until now.
Winter White
Winter white is another recurring trend reinvented in a broad range, from classic floor-length styles to short, structured ones, paired with black contrasts.
A Little Bit of Sheer, A Little Bit of That
Sheer is back and paired with various textures and in jewel tones, to give us an edgy facade.
