Fab Designer: Jason Wu

So, we all heard the big gasp when our First Lady chose the gown Jason Wu designed for the Inaugural Ball. I'm probably the only one who isn't too fond of the dress (or maybe just on her) but I can't get enough of his amazing Ready-to-Wear designs!

Mr. Wu, born and bred in Taiwan, is a currently a New Yorker with a three year-old-label, modeled after doll clothes. He has been compared to fashion veterans like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera.

Although his Spring '09 collection reminds me of a chic Barbie (yes, I know it's intended) I can't help but adore his designs. Check out his fab threads...
